Obituary


Mildred Jakubka Kubilis, 98, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018, in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation. She was born March 25, 1920 in Berwyn, IL a daughter of the late Konstant and Stefoni Petroska Jakubka. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Kubilis; a daughter, Judith McMullan; two sisters; and two great grandchildren. She was a retired Office Efficiency Manager with the U.S. Government having last worked at Red Stone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. as a civilian employee of the U.S. Army. Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Robert Culp II of Barboursville; four grandchildren and their spouses, Scott McMullan (Lawren) of Sikeston, MO, Robert "Butch" Culp III (Ronna) of Barboursville, WV, Wendy Culp of Springboro, OH, and Patricia "Beth" Claypool (Chris) of Perrysburg, OH; and eleven great grandchildren. Inurnment of her ashes will be in Church of the Mediator Memorial Gardens Columbarium, Meridian, Mississippi.
