Obituary


Steven Mark Kypke, 48, of Huntington, died Thursday, April 19, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born September 26, 1969 in Gary, IN, a son of Doris Lucas of Proctorville, OH, and the late Carmen Clark Kypke. Steven was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and he worked for the Huntington Housing Authority as a painter. He was a member of Norway Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to his mother, survivors include his daughter, Taylor Keith of Fargo, North Dakota; a sister, Linda Walker of St. Albans, WV; and two brothers, Gary Kepke of Huntington and Bryan Summer of Galion, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary with Minister Jeff Garrett officiating. A private burial will be in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV.
