Obituary



Josephine Carolyn Neal, 90, of Columbia, SC, formerly of Huntington, WV, died Tuesday April 10, 2018 at Agapé Hospice House, Lexington, SC. Graveside funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday April 14, 2018 at Woodmere Memorial Park, with Pastor Ross Thornton officiating. Carolyn was born July 25, 1927 in Winfield, WV a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Josephine Howell Wright. She was a Receptionist for Prestera Mental Health and Huntington Museum of Art and a member of the Fourth Ave United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband Raymond Edsel Neal, a son, Stephen Neal, siblings, Harry Wright, Jr, Kathryn Jordan, Lois Morris, Charlotte Nagle, Marion Scott and Charles (Curtis) Wright. Survivors include one daughter, Carla McGlone of Columbia, SC, four grandchildren, Jennifer Neal- Pressley of Boone, NC, Robby Ellis and wife Lindsey of Huntington, Olivia Poole and Joshua Poole and wife Ashley all of Charlotte, NC, 8 great grandchildren, John Lowry, Carolyn, James, Samuel and Grace Pressley, Sawyer Ellis, Max and Jax Poole, two brothers, Bruce and Larry Wright both of Huntington and one sister, Elaine Webster of Wayne and a daughter-in-law, Amy Neal Grumbles and husband Ron of Charlotte, NC.
