Dan Shoemaker, 66, formerly of Huntington, passed away Wednesday, April 4. He most recently founded and was President of Events Worldwide, LLC in Charlotte, NC. He is survived by his wife, Vita and daughters Gretchen and Hannah. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church Huntington. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Big Green Scholarship Foundation on behalf of Dan Shoemaker. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
