Joseph William Schmidt 24, of Huntington, WV, died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at home. He was a mechanic. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, April 13, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Jerry Hensley officiating. Burial will be in Burlington-Greenlawn Cemetery. He was born April 17, 1993, in Huntington, a son of Kathy Sue Chapman Bolen and the late William Herbert Bolen, Jr. Survivors in addition to his mother include: his wife, Kayla Mae Hill Schmidt; two daughters, Elizabeth Holley Hill and Ella Mae Jo Schmidt; two sisters, Natasha Nicole Vance and Samantha Jo Schmidt; two brothers, Gary McBlaine Schmidt and Michael Paul Schmidt. Friends may call one hour prior to service time Friday at the funeral home.
