Esta Lee Reed, 85, of Wayne, WV, widow of William Cecil Reed, went to be with her Lord Monday, April 9, 2018. She was born September 28, 1932 in Lincoln County, WV., a daughter of the late Lindsey and Ida Workman. Her sister, Hercie Marie Maynard and her brother, Clevis Workman also preceded her in death. She retired from Kmart having been a set-up person helping to open new stores. Esta was a member of the Little Harts Creek Baptist Church, she enjoyed sewing and loved life to the fullest. Survivors include a nephew, who she considered a son, Donald Gene Maynard and his wife, Sherry Maynard of Wayne; a brother-in- law, Donald Maynard of Wayne; several nieces and nephews including Sandy Maynard, Cherry Stephens and husband, Bill Stephens, of Wayne and Patricia Frye, of Harts; a special great niece, Tiffany Brunty; and special friends, Mary Sue Watts and Barbara Napier. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Wednesday April 11, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary with Elder Charlie Paulsen officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
