Shirley Lee Clatworthy
(March 23, 1935 - January 21, 2014)



Shirley Lee Clatworthy, 78, of Huntington, WV, died Tuesday January 21, 2014 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday January 25, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Shirley was born March 23, 1935 in Chester, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence & Goldie Thompson Watson. She was a member of Our lady of Fatima Church. She was preceded in death by a son Joseph Clatworthy, and two brothers, Clarence, Jr. & Ernest Watson. Survivors include her husband; Edward F. Clatworthy, one daughter, Sandra Thompson & husband Ted of York, PA, three sons, Edward Clatworthy & wife Beth of Orlando, FL, John Clatworthy & wife Joan of Conroe, TX, Randal Clatworthy & wife Carmen of Vincent, OH, one brother, Jack Watson & wife Ina of Naperville, Il, 12 grandchildren, Katie, Amanda & Camdyn Thompson, Joe & Andrea Clatworthy, Matthew Clatworthy, Jessica Benson, Robert, Shirley, Antonio, Edward & Victoria Clatworthy, and one great-grandson, Daniel Thompson. The family would like to send a special thank you to the Dunn family for all their loving help. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association 1601 2nd Ave. Charleston, WV 23587. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday January 24, 2014.
