Ona Faye Brunty Lutz, 83, of South Point, OH, passed away Monday, January 06, 2014, in Heartland Of Riverview, South Point, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, January 10, 2014, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Charlie Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Watson Cemetery, Branchland, WV. She was born March 11, 1930 in Lincoln County, WV a daughter of the late Ollie and Anna Jane Clay Brunty. Her husband, William Lutz; two sisters, Leva Brunty Varney and Jewell Brunty Dowdy; a brother, Delbert Lee Brunty; a sister-in-law, Sadie Osburn Brunty; and two brothers-in-law, Edward Scarberry and Paul Junior Albright, also preceded her in death. Survivors include: three sisters and a brother-in-law, Orpha Brunty Scarberry, Georgia Brunty Albright and Lillie Brunty Adkins and Vernon Adkins, all of Huntington; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles and Ruby Brunty of Ypsilanti, MI and Jennings Brunty of South Point, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
