Marjorie Morrison

Marjorie Morrison, 90, formerly of Huntington, WV, and Proctorville, OH, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014, in Midland Meadows Assisted Living, Ona, WV. Marjorie was born February 2, 1923 in Lawrence County, OH a daughter of the late Dewey and Ursula Bone Peters. Her husband, Thurman Aldon Morrison and four brothers, also preceded her in death. She was a retired Service Parts Manager for Sears and was a member of Grace Gospel Church. Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Marcia and Hugh Hinshaw of Huntington and Sheryl and Michael Kincaid of Leland, NC; four grandchildren, Nate Hinshaw, Zach Hinshaw and his wife Arianna, Andrew Kincaid and Wesley Kincaid; and two great granddaughters, Asyra Hinshaw and Aysley Hinshaw. The family would like to thank the staff of Midland Meadows Assisted Living for their loving care. Funeral services will be conducted noon Monday, January 6, 2014, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Jerry Matt officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Alzheimer’s Association. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to noon Monday at Chapman's Mortuary.
