Wesley Nicely, 86, of Huntington, WV, died Friday January 17, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday January 20, 2014 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Ray Vance officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Wesley was born September 1, 1927 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Verlin & Lettie Albright Nicely. He was retired from Houdaille Industries and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin & Kenneth Nicely and a nephew Brian Nicely. Survivors include one brother, Marvin Nicely of Huntington, nieces & nephews, Melissa Ramey & husband Scott and their children, of Huntington, Michael Nicely & wife Gidget of Taylorsville, KY, Lisa Ray & husband Terry and their son of Huntington, Kathy Spurlock of Hurricane & Roger Nicely of Washington State. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary after 1:00 PM Monday until service time.
