Harriet Ruthie Bays Young, 49, of Huntington, WV, died Sunday January 26, 2014 at her residence. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday February 3, 2014 at Ridgelawn Memorial Park’s Abbey of Devotion. Burial will follow. Ruth was born April 4, 1964 in Charleston, WV a daughter of the late Edward & Helen McNeely Bays. She was also preceded in death by her nephew and dear friend David Lance Beaman. Survivors include a daughter, Brittany Farley of Huntington, two sons, Charles Farley of Huntington & Matthew Sutherland of Richmond, VA, a grandson, Maston Owen Farley, one sister, Joan Farley & husband David of Huntington; nephews, Heath Beaman, Donovan Lance, Jesse Beaman, nieces, Melissa Spears and Jordan Spears, great-niece, Natilynn Faith, special friend, Philip Scott of Montana, and good friend, Allen Jean of Huntington. Friends may call at the cemetery after 12:30 PM until service time on Monday. Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
