Lorraine Isobel Lowther, 88, of Huntington, WV, widow of Charles Wesley Lowther, passed away Saturday January 4, 2014 in Broadmore Assisted Living, Hurricane, WV. Lorraine was born May 19, 1925 in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Galleton Easom & Betty Jane Spears Jeffers. Lorraine is survived by a niece Misty McMinn of Hurricane. The family would like to invite all to a public visitation at White Chapel Memorial Gardens White Chapel Mausoleum, Barboursville, WV at 5:00 PM Monday January 6, 2014. The service will begin at 5:30 PM with Pastor Chuck Case officiating. Entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Lorraine Lowther honor to: St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, 135 West Muhammad Ali Blvd. Suite B Louisville, KY, 40202.
