Mary Katherine Grose

Mary Katherine Grose, 83,of Huntington, wife of Gene Clinton Grose, passed away Tuesday January 7, 2014 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday at Chapman’s Mortuary with Pastor Paul Meadows and Minister Ray Scarberry officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery. She was born March 28, 1930 to the late Grover Cleveland and Maude Bird Kuhn. In addition to her parents all of her siblings, two sisters and five brothers preceded her in death. She was a retired secretary from the C&O Railroad with 32 years service. Mary was a member of Beulah Ann Baptist Church. Additional survivors include nieces and nephews, Tomi and Phil Weber of Huntington and their children, Matt Weber and Catherine Weber; Mike and Wendy Grose of Glenwood and their son, Chris Grose; additional nieces, Frannie and Mark Wolford, Ann Jarrell, Judy Dillon, Juanita and Walter Wise; and additional nephews, Jack and Carol Kuhn, Harold Ray Kuhn, Larry Kuhn, and Walter and Carolyn Meadows. Friends may call 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
