Obituary



Thelma Opal Baylous, 83, of Huntington, WV, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 10:00 AM Tuesday February 14, 2017 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Minister Jeff Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Opal was born July 29, 1933 in Griffithsville, WV a daughter of the late Tom and Nina Merle Estep Bell. She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband Raymond Richardson and her 2nd husband Byron Thomas "Tommy" Baylous, two sisters, Docie Morrison and Irene Bias and one brother, Hercie Bell. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Brian Agee of Huntington, one son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Jill Richardson of Cincinnati, OH, two grandsons, Andy Agee of Huntington and Tyler Agee and fiancée Bekah Finley of Louisville, KY, and a brother and sister-in-law, Oshel and Rosemary Bell of Yawkey, WV. The family would like to thank the staff of Wyngate at Rivers Edge of Proctorville and Heartland of Riverview for all their loving care and compassion.
