Obituary

David Shade Jones, the man, the myth, the legend, 61 years old, entered into the great unknown on February 4th, 2017. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Dr. Arthur Shade Jones and Fanny Mills Jones. He is survived by his children, Kristi Mills Jones-Williamson, Heather Dawn McNamara (Jesse McNamara), Jody Thornburg, Alisha Nicole Kuempel, (Thomas Kuempel), David Arthur Jones (Brandi Jones), and Jeremy Shade Jones (Lisa Jones). He is also survived by his grandchildren Ravyn, Ona Cadence, Jagger, Jasmine, Hayden, Matti, Ryan, Kyzer, Jaylon, Maybellene, Hendrick, and Everly. David lived most of his life like there was no tomorrow, and for the most part that served him well. He enjoyed fishing, camping, coaching, cooking, good music, great comedy, women, and raising hell (not necessarily in that order). To know him was to love him, and he will be sorely missed. "You hear that Elizabeth? I'm coming to join you honey!" Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
