Obituary



Paul Michael Price, 76, of Barboursville, entered the gates of Heaven on Monday, February 20, 2017 from home. Graveside services with Police Honors will be conducted 11:00 am Friday at Ridgelawn Abbey of Devotion in Ridgelawn Memorial Park with Dr. David B. Lemming officiating. Members of the F.O.P. Gold Star Lodge 65 will serve as pallbearers. Paul was born February 10, 1941 in Huntington son of the late Peter Paul and Helen Mikeal Price. He was also preceded in death in 2010 by his wife of 45 years, Betty Lou Hodge Price, and his sister, Sallie Ann Price. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served six years and a retired Huntington Police Department Captain with over 30 years' service. Paul was a member of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church, the Huntington F.O. P. Gold Star Lodge 65, and the Marine Corps League. He is survived by his children, Deborah Perdue of Barboursville, WV, and Robert (Stacie) Price of Franklin, TN; three grandchildren, Ashley May of Barboursville, and Nathan Price and Morgan Price of Franklin, TN; a sister, Sandra Brobston of Ashville, NC; and a very special companion, Zoe. Friends may call 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at Chapman's Mortuary and a procession will leave Chapman's Mortuary on Friday at 10:45 am for the cemetery.
