Obituary



Betty Jean Craig, 79, of Huntington, WV, died Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday February 12, 2017 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Danny McSweeney officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Betty was born December 3, 1937 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Elba and Lillie Marie Weekley Felix. She worked in retail with area stores and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Craig, one son, Jeffrey Allen Craig and one brother, Bernard Ray Felix. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Jim Nibert of Huntington, two sisters, Joyce Cox and husband Arnold of NC, and Brenda Kay Knight of Lesage, WV, two grandchildren Ashley Nibert Kearns and husband Karey of Kenova and James Nibert II and wife Stephanie Neely Nibert of Huntington, five great grandchildren, Isaiah Kearns, Max, Stella and Lucille Nibert and Jacob Sponsler and her loving dog Prissy. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
