Obituary



Paul Arthur Waymire, 93, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, in Rivers Bend Healthcare, South Point, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Ken Toler officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park with Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 conducting military graveside rites. Paul was born January 22, 1924, in Peru Indiana, a son of the late Roy and Caroline Gehring Waymire. A son, Jackie Lee Waymire, 4 sisters and one brother also preceded him in death. Mr. Waymire was a WWII US Army veteran, retired from the CandO Railroad as a machinist, and was a faithful member of the Trinity Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Ann Dillon Waymire; one brother and his wife, Edward and Rachel Waymire of SC; special sister-in-law, Betsy Dillon of Huntington, and beloved nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Huntington, and Rivers Bend Healthcare, and all who cared for Paul and his family, May God Bless you.
