Obituary



Larry Wendell Forth, 73, of Glenwood, WV, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019, in Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, WV. Larry was born April 30, 1945 in Huntington, WV a son of the late John Henry and Ida Gretchen Romine Forth. Also preceding him in death was an infant sister, Juanita Forth and two brothers, Harold Paul Forth and Jimmy Dale Forth Ashworth. Survivors include his sister, Freda Gue of Glenwood; one brother, Herman (Loretta) Forth of Columbus, OH; a special cousin, Shirley Hill of Huntington; five nieces and nephews, Charles Mayes, Jr. of Huntington, Ricky (Karen) Mayes and Robin (Johnny) Boyce, of Glenwood, Patricia (Eugene) Allen of Columbus, OH, and Gary (Jessica) Gue II of Glenwood; six great nieces and nephews; and twelve great great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Bishop Edwin S. Harper officiating. Burial will be in Greenbottom Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
