Obituary



Mary Volk Price, 58, of Huntington, WV, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born June 11, 1960 in Huntington a daughter of the late Frank Milton Volk and Dorothy Terry Volk. Her husband, Charles Conrad "Chaz" Price; a sister, Martha Volk Floyd, and a nephew, Frank Raymond Floyd, also preceded her in death. She was a former coordinator for the Center for Independent Living; was a Methodist by faith; and was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. Survivors include: a niece, Mattie Floyd; a brother-in-law, Jon Floyd; and close friend, Shawn Pingree. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, January 21, 2019, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with Pastor Bill DeMoss officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:00 pm Monday at the cemetery.
