Elizabeth Bonnie Josephine Bailey Whitney, 93, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, at her residence. She was born January 2, 1926 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Hiram and Lucy Mae Ferrell Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Junior Whitney; a daughter, Bobbie Lou Horton; two sons, Robert Allen Whitney III and Carl L. Whitney; and two granddaughters, Dana Whitney and Bonnie Bolen. Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, William A. and Angie Whitney; ten grandchildren, Donna (Michael) Morgenson, with whom she made her home, Dottie Bolen, Lucas T. Whitney, Bobbie Lynn Price, Robert Whitney, Brett Whitney, Lisa Whitney, Chris Whitney, William A. Whitney, Jr., and Carla W. Waugh. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, January 7, 2019, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV, with Pastor James Bolen officiating.
