Delphia Marguerite "Marge" Chatterton

Delphia Marguerite “Marge” Chatterton, 92, of Ona, WV, formerly of Huntington, WV, widow of Wayne Chatterton, went to be with her Lord Thursday, May 12, 2011, in Midland Meadows Assisted Living, Ona. She was born January 4, 1919 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Foster and Beatrice Stephenson Bowen. In addition to her parents and husband, a sister, Zelpha Wood, also preceded her in death. She was a retired custodian for the Cabell County Board of Education and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. Survivors include: a sister, Maureen Bay of Peru, IN; a brother and his wife, Pete and Shirley Bowen of Barboursville, WV; a special sister-in-law, Betty Bowen of Huntington; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, May 16, 2011, at Woodmere, Abbey of Peace, with Pastor Jerry Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
