Brent Scott Pardue
(September 26, 1963 - May 7, 2011)



Brent Scott Pardue, 47, of Lesage, WV, husband of Claudette Jewell Hatfield Pardue, passed away Saturday May 7, 2011 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Memorial services will be conducted 7:00 PM Thursday May 12, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary with Pastor Dennis Morello and Pastor Bob Hogsett officiating. He was born September 26, 1963 in Huntington a son of Mary Ellen Sanns Pardue of Huntington and the late Berthold Maurice Pardue. In addition to his father, a son, Scott Hatfield; a brother, Rodney Pardue; and a sister-in-law, Arbutus Pardue, preceded him in death. Brent was a graduate of Barboursville High School, retired from the U.S. Army having served in Desert Storm, and attended Lighthouse Baptist Church. He worked as a machinist for CSX Transportation. In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include two daughters, Tasha Pardue of Lynnwood, WA, and Natasha Hatfield of Lesage; a son, Greg Hatfield also of Lesage; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Connie and Jimmy Roberts, and Amy Pardue, a brother, David Pardue, all of Huntington; a sister-in-law, Glory Pardue of Milton; three grandchildren, Rene Hatfield, Kacey Hatfield, and the “apple of his eye”, Savanah Hatfield; three wonderful foster children who he loved as his own; his father and mother-in-law, Clyde and Sherma Hatfield of West Palm Beach, FL; brother-in-law, Kipp Childers of Huntington; and a large extended family. The family requests donations are made to the Disabled American Veterans, or charity of ones choice. Friends may call 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday prior to service at Chapman’s Mortuary.
