Betty Ruth Adkins Lusher, 85, of Huntington, WV, died Saturday May 14, 2011 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday May 17, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington by Rev. Paul Holton. Burial will be in Morrison Cemetery, Wayne County, WV. Betty was born November 21, 1925 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Ernest E. & Olive Booten Adkins. She was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Lesley Lusher and one sister Cassie Flora. Survivors include one daughter & son-in-law Connie & Mike Lycans of Kingsport, TN, three sons, & two daughters-in-law John & Helena Lusher, Eddie & Sharon Lusher all of Barboursville and Dana Brian Lusher of Huntington, 7 grandchildren, Rick (Rhonda), Melissa, Renee, Michelle (Tracy), Michael (Sharon), Jennifer (Mark) & Robin, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, two sisters, Ann Rice of Huntington and Glenna Baker of Wayne.
