Obituary



Judith Ann Pennington Dyer, 66, of Huntington, died Monday February 12, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born August 12, 1951 in Mingo County, WV a daughter of the late Leroy Pennington and Gladys Brewer Pennington Jarrell. A sister, Janet Sue Pennington also preceded her in death. She was a retired manager for Payless Shoe Store. Survivors include her daughter, Julie Taylor of Chesapeake, OH; two sons, Paul Pennington and wife, Maickel Pennington of Port Orange, FL, and Wayne Pennington of Cape Canaveral, FL; 12 grandchildren including a special grandson, Matt King; 9 great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Jo Pennington Moses of Huntington, and Dottie Nadine Pennington Bevins of Ona, WV; three brothers, Robert Dean Pennington and wife, Christine Pennington of Lexington, KY, Landon Earl Jarrell of Huntington, and George Jeffrey Jarrell of Ceredo, WV; and a long time special friend, Solange Price of Proctorville, OH. Donations would be appreciated in her name to the American Red Cross. The family will be having a private memorial service in the near future.
