Obituary



Deborah Ann Young "Bunny" Hoffsted, 66, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. She was born March 24, 1951 in Charleston, WV a daughter of the late Edward Harold and Ariel Smith Young. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack N. Hoffsted; brother, Marshall Lewis Young; and her partner of 11 years, Greg Kearns. Bunny was retired from Alcon. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend. Survivors include: a sister and brother-in-law, Sara Elizabeth and Kevin Parsons of Huntington and their children, Jasmine E. Parsons and Nick Parsons; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward H. Young II and Billie Young of Huntington and their daughter, Emily Young; nephew, Marshall Lewis Young II; and a dear friend, Frank Watson. The family would like to thank Frank for his kindness and help during her illness. At Bunny's request, there will be no services. We love you, Bunny. As Bunny would always say, "Bicycles". Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
