Kathie E. Zelazny, (Meldrum), 51, of Crown City, OH, passed away, Thursday February 15, 2018 after battling cancer for the past 2 ½ years and was so tough and resilient. Kathie had such a positive impact on anyone she came in contact with her bravery, courage and fight. She was a warrior. Kathie was born November 22, 1966 in Bad Godesberg, Germany. She had been a Crown City resident the past 13 years, prior to which she had resided in Canada and New York. She was the assistant Manager at G C Services. She was preceded in death by both parents Ernest and Rhoda Meldrum and grandson Jayden. She is survived by her husband Jeff Zelazny her kids, Chris, Jesse and Shannon Slater, Kyle, Jacob and Rachel Zelazny and grandkids, Audrina, Nash and Jett, brothers, Norman, Bryan and Chris Meldrum, and sister Wanda Meldrum. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
