James Anthony Hoffman, 42, of Point Pleasant, WV, son of Deborah Jean Hoffman, died Thursday, February 22, 2018 at his mother's residence in Huntington. He was born March 29, 1975 in Columbus, OH, a son of Deborah Jean Hoffman of Huntington, and the late James Henry Curry, Jr. He was a chef at several restaurants in the area as well as other towns. In addition to his mother, survivors include his sister, Tina Renee Hoffman of Columbus, oH; a niece, Breeanna J. Vaughn; nephew, Anthony Jamale Vaughn; great niece, Delanie Haywood; special brother-in-law, Leonard Eugene Vaughn; and several half siblings. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family with cremation and a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
