Obituary


Darla Marie Gillispie Graybeal, 61, of Milton, WV, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Roger Mooney officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park. She was born June 26, 1956, in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Hancel and Betty M. Grant Gillispie. Two brothers, Tracy Shawn Gillispie, Timothy Clay Gillispie, and a sister Deloris Gillispie also preceded him in death. She was a home health worker. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Frank Graybeal; daughter, Danelle Graybeal; son Patrick Graybeal all of Milton, WV; a precious grandson, Timothy Shawn "Bubby" Graybeal of Pomeroy, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Brenda Gillispie of South Point, OH; sister-in-law, Teresa Smith of Milton, WV; three nieces, Michelle Gillispie, Christie Keeney (Mark), all of South Point, OH, and Tara Gillispie of Louisa, KY; three nephews, Shawn Adkins of Lavalette, WV, Timothy Gillispie of Louisa, KY, and Troy Gillispie of Milton, WV; 6 great nephews and 2 great nieces; and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be from noon to 2:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
