Obituary



Ernestine P. Swann-Webb, 78, of Huntington, widow of Wayne Webb, died Sunday, February 11, 2018, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, February 16, 2018, in Oaklawn Memorial Park with Pastor Mark Leist officiating. Burial will follow. She was born January 2, 1940, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Troy Ernest and Mildred Ruth Nelson Fisher. She worked at Big-Lots as a sales associate. Survivors include three sons, Steven Swann (Heather), David Lane Swann and Daniel Lee Swann; one daughter, Helena Gayle Markus (Junior); one sister, Shirley A. Bledsoe (Roy); 13 grandchildren, Angela Swann, April Swann, Crystal Soucy, Michael Swann, Ryan Swann, Hunter Swann, Andrew Swann, Christopher Swann, Matthew Swann, Erika Swann, Angela Todd, Charles Stapleton and Christina Stapleton; 9 great-grandchildren, Wyatt Soucy, Callum Soucy, Mason Soucy, Alex Soucy, McKinsley Swann, Cameron Swann, Aradella Todd, Elena Stapleton and Grayson Stapleton; one aunt, Shirley Bledsoe. Friends may visit with the family after 1:00 pm Friday at Chapman's Mortuary with a procession leaving for the cemetery at 1:45 pm.
