Obituary



Lynette Gayle McCallister, 68, of Huntington, died Wednesday February 21, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born October 6, 1949 in Huntington a daughter of the late Anthony Joseph and Freda Aldine Hicks Lapelle. Her brother, Gary Ray Lapelle also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and loved to go to Redman Bingo and play bingo. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Trisha and Randy McGinnis of Huntington; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Lori McCallister of Barboursville; two grandchildren, Ian McCallister of Barboursville, and Mason McGinnis of Huntington; her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Carla Lapelle of Huntington; a nephew, David Lapelle and his wife, Jeri Lapelle and a great nephew, Anthony Lapelle. Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 pm Friday at Ridgelawn Memorial Park Abbey of Devotion with Dr. Rick Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Friends may visit a half hour prior to services on Friday.
