Obituary

Jack Lee Brumfield
(March 4, 1932 - March 30, 2015)


Jack Lee Brumfield, 83, of Tulsa, OK, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, in St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa. He was born March 4, 1932 in Lesage, WV a son of the late Willard and Lillian Crawford Brumfield. A brother, Willard Roger Brumfield, also preceded him in death. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was a retired manager for Mapco Coal Company. Survivors include: his wife of 57 years, June Brumfield; two daughters, Sheila Brumfield and Tresa Brumfield, both of Tulsa; a son, Todd Brumfield of Tulsa; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Marjorie Spurlock of Proctorville, and Barbara (Paul) Knight and Beverly Sue Brumfield, all of Lesage; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, April 6, 2015, at Greenbottom Memorial Park. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm Monday at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington.
