Obituary

Martha Rose Estep
(March 9, 1931 - March 26, 2015)



Martha Rose Estep, 84, of Huntington, widow of Pat Leonard Estep, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Minister Dearl Hutchison officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. She was born March 9, 1931, in Shady Springs, WV, a daughter of the late Wesley and Bessie Mayo Jones. Several siblings also preceded her in death. She was a volunteer for the Veterans Administration, and a member of the VFW Post 9738 Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include two sons, Pat Leonard Estep, Jr., and wife Christa of Evans GA, Steve and Lisa Estep of Huntington; one brother, James Robert Jones of Alderson, WV; 5 grandchildren, Steven and Amanda Estep of Huntington, Natascha and Matthew Ruiz of Long Island, NY., Tatjana Raycroft of Evans, GA, Patrick Estep and Andrew Estep both of Huntington; 6 great-grandchildren. Friends may call one hour prior to service time Sunday at the funeral home.
