Obituary

Margaret Patricia Ruf
(March 14, 1925 - March 16, 2015)



Margaret Patricia Ruf, 90, of Ona, WV, widow of Calvin Ruf, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born March 14, 1925, in Jersey City, NJ, a daughter of the late Edwin and Elizabeth Erbig Braun. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua James Katity, and a former husband, David Jack Pritchard. She was a former welder in the ship yards, a foster mother, and a beautician for most of her life. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie Elaine and George Edward Katity of Swainton, NJ; three sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Linda Gilliam of North Cape May, NJ., David A. and Tammi Pritchard of Ona, and Edward and Bobbi McGarrity of Martinsburg, WV; two sisters, Audrey Columbo and Lydia Stefko, both of Toms River, NJ; a brother and his wife, Richard and Carol Cole of Nitro, WV; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family wishes donations be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, in her honor. Inurnment will occur at a later date in Fairview Memorial Cemetery, Cape May Courthouse, NJ.
