Rodolfo "Rudy" Magaņa
(June 7, 1986 - March 19, 2015)

Rodolfo "Rudy" Magaņa, 28, had his life taken away Thursday, March 19, 2015, in front of his home in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born on June 7, 1986, in Chicago, Illinois. Rudy is survived by his mother, Genoveva Magaņa, his father Mario Magaņa, his three older siblings, Maria Magaņa, Magro Magaņa, and Juan Magaņa, four nieces, one nephew, and his soon to be wife and unborn child, Emilee Miles and baby Vincent. Rudy was very family-oriented, a business owner, soccer player, tremendously involved in sponsoring Huntington community fundraisers, and a friend to many. He was known for his generosity, kind heart, and effortless ability to make others laugh and smile. Rudy and his significant other had just purchased their first home in February of 2015. Rudy was eagerly anticipating the birth of his first child to be due on July 1, 2015.  Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 pm Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Aaron Karr officiating. Burial will be Saturday in Ayden Town Cemetery, Ayden, NC. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Wednesday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
