Maxine Lois Vernon
(November 19, 1934 - March 24, 2015)

Maxine Lois Vernon, 80 of Huntington, WV, died Tuesday March 24, 2015 at Huntington Health & Rehabilitation Center. Graveside funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday March 26, 2015 at Wayne Community Gardens, Wayne, WV, with Pastor Cledith V. Campbell, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow. Maxine was born November 19, 1934 in Logan County, WV, a daughter of the late George Shackelford & Ruby Adkins Napier. She was retired from Marshall University’s Computer Center. Survivors include her husband, Harold “Hank” Vernon Jr., one son, Donald Hagley of Georgia, a sister-in-law, Barbara Conner & husband Allen and a father-in-law, Harold Vernon, Sr. all of Huntington. Friends may visit with the family after 10:30 AM Thursday at the cemetery. Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
