Mary Dessy Workman
(October 20, 1933 - March 3, 2015)



Mary Dessy Workman 81, of Huntington, widow of Ceburn Workman, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, March 6, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. James Bolen officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born October 20, 1933, in Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Fred and Malinda Lusk Daniels. A daughter Hattie J. Workman also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Survivors include four daughters, Eunice F. Woodrum of Huntington, Linda L. Toler, Pineville, WV, Ellena Haddock of Huntington, and Chasity D. Webb of Proctorville, OH; four sons, Walter D. Daniels, Delon Workman both of Huntington, Johnny B. Workman of Barboursville, and Delon Workman, Jr, of Huntington; one sister, Ella M. Stepp of Huntington; 22 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 Thursday at the funeral home.
