Beverly Doris Weant
(March 18, 1933 - March 1, 2015)

Beverly Doris Weant, 81, of Huntington, WV, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015, at her residence. Beverly was born March 18, 1933 in Huntington a daughter of the late Guy and Mildred Madline Bias Steinbrecher. Her brothers, James M. Steinbrecher and Jack E. Steinbrecher, also preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Franklin Institute of Technology in Philadelphia, PA and was nationally known for her blood banking skills, having retired from the American Red Cross. Survivors include: her husband, Robert E. Weant; two sons, Mike A. Weant and his wife, Janet of Wadsworth, OH and David L. Weant and his girlfriend, Kim Jones of Huntington; three grandchildren, Anna Weant and Timothy Weant, both of Wadsworth, OH and Dakota Weant and his girlfriend, Megan Lindsey of Huntington; sisters-in-law, Donna and Bob Harbour and Charlotte Weant, all of Huntington, and Jackie Steinbrecher of Greer, SC. Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 pm Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 pm Thursday at Chapman’s Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
