John Edward Christopher
(August 8, 1952 - March 13, 2015)

John Edward Christopher, 62, of Huntington, W.Va., died March 13, 2015 at his residence. He was born August 8, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, a son of the late Richard Charles and Thressa Christopher. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Marc Conrad and Louis Charles Christopher. He is survived by one son Stefan Christopher of Los Angeles, Calif., one nephew Lance Christopher and sister-in-law Glenda Christopher of Michigan City, Ind., two aunts and uncles Elizabeth and Enos Hadley of Harlingen, Texas and Patricia and Erwin Bowen of Richmond Hill, Georgia and a host of cousins, extended family and friends. Private burial at the Bowen Cemetery. Memorial service at a later date. Special and heartfelt thanks to all the physicians, staff and employees at the Huntington VA Medical Center and the VA Homeless Center of Huntington. Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.
