Obituary

John Byron King
(February 16, 1946 - March 5, 2015)

John Byron King, 69, of Salt Rock, WV, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born February 16, 1946 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Homer Ashford and Wilma Z. Fellure King. John was a veteran of the US Army and was a former construction worker for different utility companies. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, John T. and Monica King of Huntington; two grandchildren, Connor King and Hailey King of Huntington; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Donna King of Fairmont, WV, Lanny and Connie King and Gene and Karen King, all of Salt Rock, WV. John’s wishes were to be cremated and Chapman’s Mortuary is assisting the family.
