Obituary



Bonnie Faye Chapman, 75, of Huntington, widow of Billy Chapman, died Monday, January 8, 2018 at her residence. She was born June 9, 1942 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Patrick Joseph and Lizzie Lee Waugh O'Brien. A brother, Pat O'Brien and a grandson, Joshua Chapman also preceded her in death. She was a former cook at Marshall University. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Chuck King, and Beth and Billy Joe Scarberry, all of Huntington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Debbie Chapman of South Point, OH, and Danny and Tammy Chapman of Huntington; a sister, Margaret Olmstead of Ceredo; a brother, Mike O'Brien of Milton; and a former daughter-in-law and special friend, Tina Chapman. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Thursday at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Phil Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Herrenkohl Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 am at Chapman's Mortuary.
