Obituary



Earl Ward Meek, 80, of Huntington, WV, husband of Barbara Meek, died Monday January 1, 2018 in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Earl was born October 4, 1937 in Wayne, WV a son of the late James E. and Hester Hundley Meek. He was also preceded in death by his son, Joshua Meek, 5 sisters, Hazel Berry, Alice Lapin, Emma Conn, Anna Ruth Davis and Maude Meek, three brothers, Paul, Everette and William "Bill" Meek. Additional survivors include two sons, Karl Edward (Angela) Meek and Stephen Meek both of Huntington, two grandchildren, Jonah Meek and Jacob James Meek, two brothers, Karl E Meek of Port Orange, FL and James Alan (Barbara) Meek of Huntington. There will be no services. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
