Margaret Ellen Spaulding, 87, of Huntington, WV, died Monday January 15, 2018 in Heritage Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday January 18, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Chuck Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Margaret was born August 4, 1930 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Gilbert and Effie Dale Pine Lafon. She was also preceded in death by her husband William R. Spaulding and 7 brothers and sisters. She was a member of the Christ Temple. Survivors include two daughters, Pam (Bruce) Smith of Huntington, and Debbie (Rod) Black of Barboursville, one son Jeff (Avalene) Spaulding of Huntington, one brother, Howard (Shirley) Lafon of Florida, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Thursday at Chapman's Mortuary.
