Obituary


Jeanette Irene Hunter, 66, of Williamson, WV, passed away January 13, 2018, in Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington. Memorial services will be conducted noon Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Rick Wilkerson officiating. She was born April 1, 1951, in Pike County, KY a daughter of Nancy Ruth Jackson Hunter of Williamson, WV and the late James Andrew Hunter. A sister Jean Hunter, and a brother, James Andrew Hunter, Jr. also preceded her in death. She was a Healthcare Aid, and a member of Pentecostal Tabernacle United Holy Church. Survivors in addition to her mother include; two daughters, Willina Elaine Gales, and Tawana Yvonne Hunter both of Dayton, OH; one son, Thomas Duane Hunter of Layton, UT; three sisters, Andrea Brown, Judy Thorn and Barbara Phipps; grandchildren, Teona, Ta`veon, Blessin, Armani, Thomas, Jr., and Tyreace Hunter, and other grandchildren; great-grandchild, Kyen Hunter; and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be no visitation as per the family's wishes.
