Obituary

Deborah Kay "Debbie" Watson, 60, of Huntington, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at her residence so that spirit could continue her journey back to her Lord and Savior. Debbie was born in Huntington on June 29, 1957 to Frank Ellis Watson, Sr., and Virginia Wagoner Watson, who preceded her passing. A beloved niece, Ashleigh Watson, also preceded her in death. Deb is survived by two brothers, Frank, Jr., and Chuck Watson of Huntington. She also leaves her beloved niece, Laura Watson Hensley, nephew, Eric Watson, and their precious children, Alexandra, Cayden, Maxx, and Elijah, who she loved and they loved her more than anything. Debbie also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Wagoner, Stanley, and Harbour families of Ona, Milton, and Salt Rock respectively, as well as numerous friends. Deb was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School and had achieved an associate's degree at Marshall University in computer science. She was a retired yard equipment operator of the CSX Corporation. Having spent a number of years in Charleston, WV., Debbie had spent her last month's enjoying the company of niece, Laura and her children, and brothers, Frank, Jr., and Chuck. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A memorial service and celebration of life are planned at a later date at the 10th Avenue Church of God. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family with cremation.
