Obituary



Cherie Mae Morrison, 75, of Barboursville, WV, wife of Donald W. Morrison, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born January 11, 1942 in Lesage, WV a daughter of the late George Russell and Irene Hughes Caldwell. Cherie was a homemaker and a member of the Bloomingdale Salem Baptist Church, Salt Rock. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Adkins Howdyshell and Timothy Howdyshell of Huntington; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Russell and Jocelyn Morrison of Barboursville, Donald Mark and Dusti Morrison of Kenova, and Stephen Morrison of Barboursville; seven grandchildren, Justin Adkins, Zachary Morrison, Jeremy Adkins, April Bias, Tanner Morrison, Joshua Morrison, and Jacob Morrison; six great grandchildren, Jamie Adkins, Colton Adkins, Brayden Reynolds, Palmer Harshbarger, Tyler Adkins, and Jason Adkins; and a brother, Donnie Caldwell (Patty) of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 pm Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Chris Fulks officiating. Burial will be in Morrison Cemetery, Salt Rock, WV.  Friends may visit family one hour prior to services on Sunday at Chapman's Mortuary.
