Georgia L. May 86, of Huntington, WV, died Monday January 1, 2018 in Woodlands Assisted Living. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday January 4, 2018 at Beverly Hills United Methodist Church with Dr. Jerry Wood officiating. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Georgia was born April 1931 in Richwood, WV, a daughter of the late Charles and Edna Hinkle Dobson. She was a retired Nurse Anesthetist and a member of the Beverly Hills United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband Samuel E. May and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Sandy May of Hampton, VA, a son, Samuel "Bo" May, Jr. (Elizabeth Crawford) of Huntington, four grandchildren, Whitney May of Dublin, OH, Brett May of Huntington, Sam and Charlie Ratcliff both of Hampton, VA, two sisters, Wilma Dorsey of Silver Springs, MD and Jeanne May (Larry) of Winston-Salem, NC and a brother, Edward Dobson (Rhea) of Weippe, ID. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Thursday at the church. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
