Obituary


Theodore Ted Rose, 79, of Huntington, husband of Rose A. Belt Rose, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born March 17, 1938 in Huntington a son of the late Norman Clarence Rose and Katherine Evans Blankenship Rose. He also had a step son, Anthony Augastine; a step daughter, Tammy Provance; sister, Shirley Mansfield; and a brother, Fred Rose. He was a retired set up man for Even Cut Abrasives in Cleveland, OH. In addition to his wife survivors include, two step sons, Billy Carey and wife, Karen Carey of Huntington and James Provance of Cleveland, OH; a step daughter Sherry Abazid of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Ellen Brundy and Kathy Morris, both of Huntington; a son, Robert Aaron Rose of Huntington; a daughter, Lisa Rose Henry of Charleston, WV; 19 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to offset expenses. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
