Obituary


Roger Allen Haynes, 80, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary, with Jason Black officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. He was born July 11, 1937 in Huntington, a son of the late Paul Ray and Estelle Christian Haynes. A son, Roger Darrell Haynes, and four brothers also preceded him in death. He was the owner/operator of H and H Parking in Huntington, and a member of Good Shephard Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters, Carol Annette Kimble (Tine) of Huntington, Angela Dawn Dement (Clayton) of Proctorville, OH; a son Roy Allen Haynes also of Huntington; six grandchildren, Chris Kimble, Matthew, Becky, Stephanie, Kailee and Seth Dement; one great-grandchild, Carter Whitt and several beloved nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary.
