Sandra Lou Barbour
(August 6, 1935 - December 20, 2011)


Mrs. Sandra Lou Barbour, 76, of Huntington, widow of James D. Barbour, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2011, at Chapman’s Mortuary with Pastor Keith Leap officiating. She was born August 6, 1935, in Huntington, a daughter of the late William and Helen Covington Rumbaugh. She was a member of Community of Grace United Methodist Church, and was a retired Nurse with St. Mary’s Medical Center. She is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Jeannine and Valerian Dmitriev, of Milton and LuAnn and Bill Jarrell of Huntington; 2 sons and daughters-in-law Stephen and Reaugh Phipps of Huntington and Danny Gene and Apryl Phipps of Holiday, FL; a sister and brother-in-law Mary and Danny Jenkins of Jacksonville, FL, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 nephews and their spouses, William and Melanie Jenkins of New Smyrna Beach, FL., and Daniel and Kim Jenkins of Orlando, FL. and a great niece, Cimber Jenkins of New Smyrna Beach, FL. Friends may visit with the family from 3:30 pm until 6:00 pm Friday, December 30, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary.
